The church of Santa Maria Maggiore and San Leoluca is the main place of Catholic worship in Vibo Valentia, located in Piazza San Leoluca. Built over the remains of an older church damaged by earthquakes, it is decorated with numerous and available baroque stuccos and preserved important works of art, including the statue by Antonello Gagini , a Renaissance work.
Classic aristocratic villa with architectural and artistic structures mostly lost, and trees.
The Comunal Villa is located in front of San Leoluca Cathedral. It was built during the fascist age. There are a lot of plants and vegetation, and many students and people go there after work and enjoy themselves. In the front part of the Comunal Villa there is a monument dedicated to fallen soldiers during World War II.
